The Nürburgring Nordschleife is no stranger to wild liveries, but 2026 will bring something truly different. Haupt Racing Team (HRT) has revealed a striking Ford Mustang GT3 wrapped in a full camouflage polygon design as part of a new partnership with the Bundeswehr, the German Armed Forces.
The collaboration will see the olive-green Mustang compete not only in the ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring from 14–17 May 2026, but also in selected Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) events leading up to the iconic endurance classic.
A Mustang built to stand out
The Ford Mustang GT3 already carries a serious presence in the GT3 field, but in Bundeswehr colours, it becomes an immediate visual standout. The polygon camouflage design blends military styling with modern motorsport aesthetics, creating one of the most distinctive liveries expected on the Nordschleife grid this season.

During the 24-hour event weekend, the Bundeswehr will reportedly operate a dedicated career truck at the Nürburgring, offering visitors information about entry-level positions and long-term career opportunities.
The Bundeswehr highlights roles not only in combat service but also across technical, medical, IT, logistics and civilian professions. By partnering with HRT, the organisation gains access to one of Europe’s most passionate and diverse motorsport audiences.
